We will treat any information you provide as confidential and will not disclose it to any third party. We will provide any information collected by us to other Users of the Service only with your explicit permission as granted by you through the preference settings that you select that are contained in the Software. We may use any information we collect from you and about your use of the Service and dealings with us for our own credit assessment purposes.
Using Hello does not transmit any personal data to the recipient of the call (“Recipient”). Certain information about the configuration of your PC may be provided to WhitePhone Limited and is used by us to help establish an effective connection and to prevent abuse of the Service. We also monitor the length of the call and report this with the billing information to the Recipient. However, your identity will remain anonymous except to the extent that you disclose it verbally during the course of the call.
The Recipient may ask you for your contact details and to opt in to receive communications from them and this opt in may give them the right to communicate with you from time to time. If you are unhappy about these communications you should take this up with the Recipient directly.
The Service may be branded by a third party publisher (“Publisher”). In downloading and installing the Software and using the Service under the Marks of a Publisher you have agreed to opt in to receive communications from the Publisher by any reasonable means including e-mail and text, voice and video messages regarding the Service and additional products or services which we or the Publisher may introduce. We issue guidelines to cover such communications designed to protect Users from excessive contacts and spam and you should contact us if you are unhappy about how a Publisher is making use of this right. We may oblige a Publisher to reduce of stop all such communications or exclude you from such communications in future.
We may share information about you and your use of the Service with the associated Publisher and aggregate data about usage (but not personal information) to any reseller. We will only supply such information to the extent which it is reasonable to do so to enable the Publisher to exercise its rights to communicate with you, to protect itself and its Marks from harm and to avoid excessive or duplicate communications with its customers.
In order to mitigate the costs of this Service we and the Publisher whose Marks are on the Service which you use may display advertisements to Users using the Service, and may broadcast text (with attachments), audio and video advertisements and other announcements to Users. Your acceptance of the Terms of Use explicitly confirms your agreement to be included automatically in the list of those who have opted in to receive such advertisements as well as announcements from other Users. You may opt out of these groups at any time by setting your preferences in the Software.
We and the Publisher whose Marks are on the Service which you use may contact you from time to time whilst this agreement subsists regarding the Service and additional products or services which we or the Publisher may introduce. Your acceptance of the Terms of Use explicitly confirms your agreement to opt in to this right for us and the Publisher to contact you by any reasonable means including e-mail and text, voice and video messages.
Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Service, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that we shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Service.
A Publisher may have asked you to opt in to receive communications from them and this opt in may give them wider rights to communicate than our standard Terms of Use would. If you are unhappy about these communications you should take this up with the Publisher directly.
Ads delivered through the Service and displayed on embedded web pages may be delivered to users by us or the associated Publisher or one of our advertising partners. Our advertising partners may set cookies or use User ID tags. These cookies or tags may allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time you download an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information could allow an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.
