| Hello has been tested in over 100 countries by a range of businesses. During these trials the only technical change that was sometimes required was a minor router reconfiguration to allow UDP traffic.
Routers and Firewalls (any personal firewall and antivirus software) should be configured as follows:
TCP: allow any internal computer to connect to outside computers on ports 80 and 443. Port 80 is the standard HTTP (web browsing) port and port 443 is used by HTTPS (Secure Sockets Layer) for encrypted web browsing.
UDP: allow any connections to the following IP addresses:
- SIP: 213.167.79.25
- RTP: 213.167.79.20
You may also need to select the "always allow this program to access the Internet" option when asked by your firewall or antivirus software. |
